Dengan kesuksesan album Please Please Me, The Beatles mulai dikenal hampir ke seluruh dunia. Dan pada November 1963, The Beatles merilis album kedua meraka, yg berjudul With The Beatles.

Album Notes :

The Beatles second album was the first to include a song written by George Harrison. It became the second album (the soundtrack from South Pacific was first) ever to sell a million copies in the UK.

Dan pada Januari 1964 The Beatles merilis album Please Please Me di US yg di beri judul Introducing… The Beatles. The Beatles sendiri menyatakan bahwa tidak akan melakukan tour ke US jika singles mereka belum menjadi no.1 di chart musik US.  Dan akhirnya Singles I Want To Hold Your Hand, menjadi no.1 di US. Dan pada Februari 1964 The Beatles berangkat tour ke US.

Kurang lebih 3000 orang menyambut kedatangan The Beatles di airport John F. Kennedy. Dua hari setelah kedatangannya The Beatles tampil live untuk pertama kali nya di US pada acara The Ed Sulivan Show, yg di saksikan oleh 74 juta penonton atau hampir 40% dari populasi Amerika. Lalu selanjutnya The Beatles tour ke beberapa negara seperti, Denmark, Hongkong, Australia dan New Zealand.

United Artist Record menawarkan The Beatles untuk membuat film, berjudul A Hard Days Night yg di sutradarai oleh Ricahrd Lester. Film ini rilis di UK pada 6 Juli 1964 dan di US pada 11 Agustus 1964. The Beatles merilis album keempat mereka setelah album OST. A Hard Days Night, yg berjudul Beatles For Sale pada tanggal 4 Desember 1964.
